This means that WordPress no longer officially supports PHP 5.5 or below. All WordPress users running PHP 5.5 or below. What should I Do? We are strongly encouraging all WordPress users to upgrade to the highest PHP version available in their cPanel. Before making critical upgrades it’s best to test out a new PHP version in your development environment or ask your developer (if you have one).
