This update is for 3.x series of Joomla. It applies to two security vulnerabilities and a bug fix for two-factor authentication. The Joomla! 3.6.4 update is primarily a security fix addressing Account Creation and Elevated Privileges (Joomla 3.4.4 – 3.6.3). There is also a bug fix that applies to two-factor authentication (#12497). The release only contains the security fixes and the bug fix.
