Set Default Editor in BoldGrid Post and Page Builder

With WordPress implementing Gutenburg in version 5.0, you may prefer to specify your preferred editor for editing posts, pages, and block libraries with BoldGrid Post and Page Builder. Below we cover how to set your default editor and change it manually.

Set Preferred Editor

  1. Select Settings under Post and Page Builder.
  2. You can set your preference for the posts, pages, and block libraries between WordPress (Gutenburg), Classic editor (classic editor without BoldGrid features), and Default (WordPress plugins)change preferred editor

  3. Press Submit.

Change Editor Manually

You may only need to change the editor temporarily to access a particular feature such as one added to the classic editor via WordPress plugin.

  1. Log into BoldGrid.
  2. Create or edit a page or post.
  3. Select the editor box in the upper right corner beside Screen Options.change editor manually
