How to Disable Softaculous for cPanel Users

Disable Softaculous

  1. Log in to WHM as root.
  2. On the left, select Softaculous – Instant Installer.
  3. On the left, select Settings, then General.
  4. At the bottom of the page, under Disable Softaculous, check the box to Turn Softaculous Off.
  5. Add a Switch Off Subject and Switch Off Message to notify cPanel users of the issue and where to get support while Softaculous is disabled. Note that this message is only plain text. HTML doesn’t work.
  6. Click Edit Settings.
