What is WordPress MU?
WordPress Network (commonly referred to as Multisite), is now referred to as a “network.” Creating a network allows you to create a networks of WordPress sites. Instead of only a WordPress site no example.com, you can create multiple WordPress sites as subdomains. It allows you to manage all of your WordPress sites from one WordPress Dashboard. For example, you have two completely separate WordPress installations on site1.example.com and site2.example.com. You will be able to manage both of these blogs from one Admin page or dashboard.
Should I use WordPress or WordPress MU?
WordPress networks do not need to be used on all installations of WordPress. If you only have one instance of WordPress running on each domain your own you do not need to use WordPress MU. However, if you are considering having multiple WordPress sites working on the same domain you should consider creating a network of WordPress website.

- Easily allows you to offer blogs to your visitors as subdomains of your website

How Can I install WordPress Network?
You can install WordPress Network or networking on your account. It can take quite a bit of time to get it set up and working properly though. However, once the network is set up is is quite simple to add more sites to it.
