Managing support requests for your users is an important part of your web hosting reseller strategy. The errors described below are related to issues that can arise in your support department. Whether you’re a full team or a single admin operation, you will want to deal with errors as they may arise.

Department Not Found
Your customers can request support by emailing your support department. However, if your support email address is in the CC or BCC field, it will generate a “Department Not Found” error. The support email address must be in the TO field for any incoming email.

WHMCS requires that you create at least one support department. The “General Enquiries” department exists by default. And your default admin user will be assigned to it. If there are no support departments or admin users assigned, you will generate this error.
