How to Whitelist an IP Address in PrestaShop 1.5

Our last article showed you how to block access to selected countries from your PrestaShop 1.5 store. There may be times when you want to allow certain individuals from within those countries to have access to your store. Perhaps you have someone traveling there, or decide to do business with a partner there. Prestashop 1.5 makes it easy to whitelist an IP address for your store.

To block access to a country in PrestaShop 1.5:

1. Log into the Prestashop 1.5 admin dashboard.
2. From the top menu bar, hover over the Preferences tab, then click on the Geolocation option.
   
3. On the Preferences : Geolocation page, fing the Options section. Towards the lower third of the page is a section named IP address whitelist. To add an IP to the list simply place your cursor at the end of an IP address and hit the Enter key. This gives you a blank line so that you can enter the IP address you want to whitelist.
   
4. Click on the green Save button in the upper right corner to save your new IP to the whitelist.

You have now successfully whitelisted an IP address in PrestaShop 1.5.
