In order to set up your email clients like Outlook, Mac mail, or Thunderbird, you will need to obtain your email settings. This article will give you the steps to find your email account settings in cPanel.

Steps to find your email settings

  1. Login into your cPanel.
  2. Email accounts cPanel WebmailGo to Mail > Email Accounts.
  3. Configure email account cPanel WebmailNavigate to your email and select the "More" drop box to the right of your email account.

    Note! If there is no email account listed, you will need to create one.

    Select Configure Email Client.


    Here is where you will find your email settings. The Newer cPanel versions have a different look than the older cPanel installations. Below is what each looks like.

Finding your email settings in Webmail

Email settings in webmail cPanel WebmailYou can also get to the email settings through your Webmail interface. First you will need to Log into your Webmail. Once logged in you will see the option to "Configure Email Client". This will take you to the same location the cPanel method takes you.
