Making DNS changes at GoDaddy.com

If you have registered your domain name with GoDaddy, you can follow the steps below to update your nameservers so that they point to InMotion Hosting's namservers. Much more information about the nameserver change process can be found here: Updating your Domain's DNS / Nameservers

To change your nameservers at GoDaddy:

  1. Log into your GoDaddy Account
  2. Click "Domains / Domain Manager" in the left menu under "MY PRODUCTS"

  3. In the list on the right, click on your domain name
    step2-click-on-the-domain-in-questions-that-you-would-like-to-manage
  4. Under "Nameservers", click "Set Nameservers"
    step3-under-the-nameservers-heading-click-set-nameservers
  5. Set the option for, "I have specific nameservers for my domains"
  6. Enter ns.inmotionhosting.com and ns2.inmotionhosting.com
    step3-set-your-nameservers-and-click-ok
  7. Click "OK"

Please note that this change can take up to 24 hours to fully take affect, so most likely you will not see the changes take immediate effect.
