Deleting Product Categories in Magento 1.6

In the previous tutorial we showed you how to create product categories to better organize your products. At any time, you can delete product categories. Product catergories are deleted through the Magento 1.6 Admin Panel.

  1. Log into your Magento Admin Panel
  2. Go to Category ->> Manage Category

    3. magento_category_1

  3. Click on the Product Category you want to delete

    4. magento_category_delete_1

  4. Click "Delete Category"

    5. magento_category_delete_2

  5. Click "OK"
