Changing an email password in cPanel
Written by Brad MarkleWhen you manage email accounts on your server, you may need to reset or change a password for one of your email accounts. You can reset or change your email passwords through your cPanel. The steps below will walk you through the steps to change an email account password.
Note! If you cannot access your cPanel, you can reset your cPanel password using AMP.
Steps to change an email password in cPanel
- Login into your cPanel.
Select the "Email Accounts" from the "Mail" section.
In the "Email Accounts" section, click on the "Change Password" link for the email account you want to change the password for.
Type a new password and click "Change password".
