FTP Basics
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol, and is used to upload and download files from your hosting account.
To connect to your account via ftp, you need the following information:
Example: If your domain name is domainABC.com, your cPanel username is domain5, and your password is 123456, you would use the following login credentials:
Please note: Passive Mode:
If you are having trouble connecting via ftp and you have the option to enable passive mode, please try doing so. Passive mode is a security related setting, and if you are behind a firewall, you may need to use it. Port 21: FTP Clients: To connect to your account via FTP, you need to use an FTP client. There are many free FTP clients available, such as Filezilla (Windows and Mac) and Cyberduck (Mac). The exact steps to configure each FTP client vary. Thanks for posting your comment. Typically, fillable fields will not show up in a printed copy. I would suggest printing it out and writing the fields in if you wish to keep a printed record of your passwords.

Print preview shows all the information.
It would be nice to print passwords on paper so they would be safe.
