Hello Bob,

Ruby is enabled on our shared hosting plans at this time. I apologize as this article is fairly old and needs to be updated.

Hello Bob,

Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately, Rails is still not available on our Shared/Business hosting plans. It is possible to get it added to VPS/Dedicated servers, but there may be an installation fee.

Thank you,
John-Paul

Why would I need Ruby if I do not have Ruby On Rails to support it? This is the main reason I move to this hosting company: to use Ruby on Rails. Please someone advise. I have the business plan and I need to clearly know what is the plan that actually supports Ruby on Rails.

Thanks

Henry

Hello Henry,

Thank you for contacting us about Ruby on Rails. While all our Business plans include Ruby , Ruby on Rails can only be installed on VPS, or Dedicated Servers.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.

Thank you,

Hi,

As this article is not true anymore, you might want to remove or update it to not confuse users looking for Ruby support.

Hello Jarno,

Thank you for your comment. While, we still do not include Ruby on Rails, or support for it, Ruby is installed on all shared servers now.

I will update the article to reflect this.

Thanks,
John-Paul
