309: Disabling WordPress Plugins in Bulk
Written by Tim SissonSometimes you may find it necessary to disable all of your WordPress plugins when troubleshooting an issue. It's often helpful when troubleshooting to start with a default installation of WordPress. If you have a large amount of plugins this can be an arduous task. The quickest method to disabling your plugins is to rename the entire folder. To do this log into cpanel and go to the folder that contains your WordPress installation:
Now, click "wp-contents" folder. Once in the folder rename the "plugins" folder to "plugins.old"
Congratulations! You have now successfully disabled all your plugins for WordPress.
