This program can assist in getting started with InMotion Hosting, including website transfers, and consulting on server set-up and optimizations. Launch Assist time becomes available to new InMotion Hosting customers that purchase a hosting plan with any of the following control panels: cPanel, Control Web Panel (CWP), and InMotion Central.

Professional Solutions Team 

Launch Assist is provided by our Professional Solutions team, not to be confused with our cPanel-managed server solutions by our technical support specialists, and is available 24/7 via chat. With Professional Solutions assistance, there are no transfers of the account between customer service and your Professional Solutions representative. You get a single point of contact, a liaison to any assistance you need with your new InMotion account. Some hosting plans include complimentary Launch Assist hours to ensure a smooth setup or transition.

Our Professional Solutions team specializes in cPanel, Control Web Panel, and InMotion Central server configurations and customer service. Customer service is InMotion Hosting’s thing.

Launch Assist time can be used for more than server or website migration. Here are some popular uses of Launch Assist time.

Customers that need more support hours, or want to purchase Launch Assist a la carté, can purchase time in two hour blocks at $199.

Additional Professional Solutions Assistance

Once your Launch Assist time is depleted, the team doesn’t dissipate into the ether. If your business reaches a point where you need additional dedicated assistance, you can extend its benefits with any of our Professional Solutions plans.

Getting Started with Launch Assist

To get started, you only need to log into your Account Management Panel (AMP) and look for the Launch Assist Available notification at the top. If you see it, select Click to start a Chat.

If you want to start off by having a server backup moved from another web hosting provider, find the Website Transfer Request button under the successive InMotion Hosting plan.

Locate the following information to prepare for your Website Transfer Request:

• Previous Host
• Is this hosting account managed with cPanel?
• For the migration to be successful, we need access to all of your site’s files & databases. Please provide us with your username & password at your old host that would grant us the highest access to your account.

Once you submit and confirm the information for your Website Transfer Request, you’ll receive an email with a detailed overview of your website migration. You may also receive a quote for additional fees if your transfer is out of scope or complex.
