InMotion Hosting Purchases Building in Virginia Beach and Earns Economic Development Grant

InMotion Hosting does more than provide web hosting. Real people use InMotion’s products to deploy apps and software services to people who need them. In other words, InMotion helps businesses achieve their wildly important goals.

In honor of these efforts, the Virginia Beach Development Authority recently awarded InMotion Hosting with an economic development grant. Along with employing a vibrant force of Virginia Beach talent, InMotion recently invested $10,797,500 into the local economy with the purchase of a 61,000 square foot building.

InMotion Hosting’s founders, Todd Robinson and Sunil Saxena, recognize the importance of investing in one of America’s growing “digital” cities. “[We’re] honored,” said Saxena, “to have an opportunity to expand our footprint in the city of Virginia Beach…[which] has provided us with extraordinary personnel talent.” Robinson added, “It is particularly rewarding to see the majority of our senior management comprised of local residents that joined us as entry level employees.”

The city of Virginia Beach has expressed its gratitude for businesses that provide jobs in emerging fields. “Small businesses are the lifeblood of our city,” said Mayor Robert Dyer. To the tune of $200,000, the Economic Development Investment Program (EDIP) provides significant support for InMotion Hosting and their continuing mission in providing the best service and products in the web hosting industry.
