Getting Schooled by 99U: Building a Successful Career & Business

I was fortunate enough to fly out to New York City last month to attend the first ever 99U Pop-Up School held by Behance. Behance, which is huge in the design industry, is an online portfolio platform widely used by creative professionals. The purpose of the pop-up school was to enhance people’s skill sets and ideas for their personal or business development.

#SpotTheShuttle InMotion Hosting’s Marketing Field Trip

We’re honored to have space shuttle Endeavour making it’s final stay here in Los Angeles. Here at our west coast office situated overlooking the airport, it’s just a walk to see the shuttle situated at one of it’s stops on it’s 12 mile trip to the LA museum. Our building is situated fairly close to the shuttle’s route, which means the commute into our office, as experienced by a number of us here, was spotty with road closure preparations. A small price to pay to feel the awesome presence in person – and “awesome” is a much overused word, but the only one that really suits seeing the shuttle up close. Continue reading –>

Interstate Skills Training AKA Systems Bootcamp

IMH is taunting our techie knowledge-base this week as we flew in Trey from our Virginia Beach office to take the lead with training our new associates here in Los Angeles.

We have recently increased our Los Angeles division with new hires to manage our ever-growing server systems. Rather like Jordie LaForge heads up engineering of Star Trek, we had Trey to bring our guys up to speed with hands on training while under Nerf Gun attack from the marketing department.
