This year, we introduced Premier Care, a professional-grade bundle that combines best-in-class human support, security, and hosting essentials into a single solution. Available for VPS Hosting and Dedicated Servers managed with cPanel, Premier Care includes:

• Launch Assist consulting hours with our Solutions team for site transfers, server setup, performance tuning, and more
• Monarx malware defense for proactive security protection
• Backup storage (30GB for VPS, 100GB for Dedicated Servers)
• 24/7 human support with Advanced Product Support (APS)

At the heart of Premier Care is InMotion Solutions, our in-house team of System Administrators who provide white-glove service for complex server configurations, zero-downtime migrations, and platform optimization. Whether you need help with custom software installations, PCI compliance configurations, LAMP speed tuning, or NGINX setups, our sysadmins work directly with you to ensure your server environment meets your exact requirements. VPS and Dedicated Server customers with a control panel receive 2-4 hours of complimentary InMotion Solutions Professional Services to get started.

Premier Care reflects our belief that business owners and agencies should spend less time managing hosting and more time growing their businesses.

Professional Email Launch

In September 2025, we launched Professional Email, a secure and modern email solution designed for agencies, marketing teams, and growing businesses. The service enables customers to send and receive messages using their own domain name, creating a professional and trusted presence for client communication.

Professional Email features custom domain addresses, advanced security with spam protection and encryption, up to 100GB of email storage, and automatic integration with InMotion Hosting domains. New hosting customers can start with a free 30-day trial.

Eco-Friendly Server Hosting

Our commitment to sustainability took a major step forward with the formal rollout of Eco-Friendly Server Hosting. These servers are securely wiped, fully inspected, updated, and tested before being put back into service.

The shift from terms like refurbished to eco-friendly emphasizes sustainability and responsibility while communicating that these machines meet the same performance, security, and reliability standards as new hardware. This program helps us be environmentally responsible while providing customers with a cost-effective server option.

Professional Website Services

In May 2025, we rolled out a full suite of Professional Website Services, including custom website design, website rebuilds, QuickSite templated builds, maintenance plans, hacked site repair, SEO foundations, speed optimization, and development hours. These services give customers access to expert support from design through launch and ongoing maintenance.

Shared Hosting Pro Plan for Agencies

In August 2025, we launched a major upgrade to our Shared Hosting Pro plan, adding full WHM access and multi-site management tools designed specifically for agencies and professional teams.

The updated Pro plan now includes:

• WHM Access: Create and manage up to 4 total cPanel accounts from a single plan
• Multi-Account Management: Support for 4 cPanel instances (1 main + 3 child accounts) with a combined limit of 40 websites
• Dedicated IP Credits: 1 dedicated IP per cPanel account, up to 4 total
• Resource Allocation: Each account receives dedicated CPU and RAM resources through our Lightweight Virtual Environment profiles

This update addresses a gap between traditional shared hosting and full reseller plans. Agencies managing multiple client sites need efficient multi-site controls without the complexity of white-label reselling. The Pro plan now delivers those capabilities at a shared hosting price point, setting InMotion apart in the shared hosting market.

UltraStack ONE for WordPress

In May 2025, we announced a strategic rebrand of our WordPress VPS solution, transitioning from Platform i to UltraStack ONE for WordPress. This purpose-built VPS configuration is engineered to run high-performance WordPress sites with exceptional speed, reliability, and security.

The new name clearly communicates what customers receive: a dedicated stack optimized for one WordPress website, powered by Nginx, Redis, PHP-FPM, NVMe SSD storage, and advanced caching. We also streamlined the product lineup to focus on higher-spec plans that deliver the performance our premium customers demand.

Upgraded Refer-A-Friend Program

Our Refer-A-Friend Program received a major upgrade in May 2025, powered by a third-party customer-led growth platform. The new system introduced automated tracking, personalized referral links, and cash rewards in the form of Visa Prepaid Cards instead of hosting credits.

In November 2025, we expanded the program with two reward tiers: $50 for referrals who purchase Shared, WordPress, or Reseller Hosting, and $75 for referrals who purchase Managed VPS Hosting or Dedicated Servers.

WordPress Community Engagement

WordCamp US 2025

InMotion Hosting returned to Portland’s Oregon Convention Center for WordCamp US 2025, held August 26-29. The four-day event brought together developers, agencies, and WordPress enthusiasts for Contributor Day, Showcase Day, and two days of presentations and workshops.

Our team members, including Parag Parikh from our Systems team attending his first WordCamp, engaged with the community and participated in discussions about WordPress’s future direction. The event highlighted the collaborative spirit that continues to drive the WordPress ecosystem forward.

State of the Word 2025

On December 2, 2025, InMotion Hosting attended the twentieth State of the Word at San Francisco’s Salesforce Tower. The invite-only event brought together approximately 45 WordPress community members for what became one of the most significant WordPress announcements in years: the live on-stage release of WordPress 6.9.

The presentation introduced WordPress’s comprehensive AI strategy, including four foundational building blocks:

• Abilities API: A unified registry describing WordPress capabilities
• WP AI Client: An abstraction layer for communicating with AI providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google
• MCP Adapter: Bridges the Abilities API with AI providers through Model Context Protocol
• AI-powered features for content generation and site management

Great Place to Work Certification

In September 2025, InMotion Hosting earned Great Place to Work Certification for the fifth consecutive year. The recognition is based entirely on employee feedback, with 75% of employees saying InMotion Hosting is a great place to work, placing us 18 points higher than the average U.S. company.

Survey highlights included 91% of employees feeling they can take time off when needed, 89% feeling welcomed when they first joined, and 85% feeling they are full members of the team regardless of position.

The web hosting market continued its robust growth trajectory this year. According to Fortune Business Insights, the global web hosting services market reached approximately $149 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow to $527 billion by 2032, representing a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 19.7%.

The Case for Infrastructure Diversification

The October 20, 2025 AWS outage served as a wake-up call for businesses relying on single-provider cloud infrastructure. A DNS resolution failure in AWS’s US-East-1 region in Northern Virginia brought down thousands of websites and applications for over 15 hours, affecting services from Snapchat and Roblox to banking systems and airline booking platforms.

The incident accelerated a trend we’ve been tracking: businesses moving away from concentrated public cloud deployments toward diversified infrastructure strategies. Gartner has identified cloud concentration as one of the top five emerging risks for organizations, and October’s outage proved that multi-zone deployments within a single provider don’t protect against region-wide failures.

WordPress Market Dominance Continues

WordPress maintained its commanding position in the content management system market throughout 2025. According to W3Techs, WordPress powers approximately 43.2% of all websites globally and holds a 60.4% share among sites using a recognized CMS.

WooCommerce, the WordPress-powered e-commerce platform, continues to lead the online store market with approximately 33% market share, powering an estimated 120 million websites worldwide.

The December 2025 release of WordPress 6.9, announced live at State of the Word, introduced significant AI capabilities that position the platform for continued growth. These tools enable WordPress sites to integrate with AI providers like OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Anthropic’s Claude, opening new possibilities for content creation, site management, and user experience.
