How did you get started in the web hosting field?

I’ve always loved working with computers. I learned HTML and the basics of hosting by helping to maintain our school website when I was in high school. In college, I majored in Computer Information Systems, and my professor helped me arrange a summer internship where I learned PHP and JavaScript.

When InMotion came up during my job search, it seemed like a natural fit for my skill set!

What is your current role at InMotion Hosting? What do you like most about it?

I work as a Developer II, focusing on our Product Catalog and Order Process.

I love working with the other brilliant developers on our team to streamline and enhance our systems, hopefully making things easier for both my coworkers and our customers.

The coolest gadget you own, want to own, or have read about?

Right now, definitely my Steam Deck! It’s a gaming PC, but in a portable form factor very similar to a Nintendo Switch. I love the huge library of games on Steam, and the flexibility of being able to play them both on the go and on my couch hooked up to the TV!

What would you like to tell us about yourself?

I’ve lived in Colorado for most of my life and I love it here! The mountains and canyons nearby are second to none and make for a great weekend getaway when I’m feeling a little burnt out. I also love sampling all the great foods we have here (especially tacos)!

Describe your personality in one word.

Introverted.
