How do I know if my hosting has been fully transfered from my previous company?

I signed up in March and can't tell if my transfer has been completed. I do not want to continue paying for the other web hosting if all has been transferred and finalized. How can I tell if everything is now with InMotion?

Hi Bob, there are two main things you'll to check. 

First, what nameserver is your domain pointed to? If it's pointed to your old host, then you're probably still seeing the old version of your site when you visit it and will need to check if the transfer process is done either by contacting us or using a hosts file modification in windows or a hosts file modification on mac, depending on your OS. 

Now, if your domain is pointed to our nameserver, has been for some time, and your site is loading without issue, you're probably fine! You should still double check to be sure, though. Log in to cPanel, check your cPanel IP address, and make sure that IP matches the primary A Record in the Zone Editor of cPanel
