Hi Milo! Anyone who has cPanel access will have total control over the website and all associated emails, so you would not normally want to give that access to anyone except those you trust. While there may be a handful of tasks that require cPanel access, the majority of development on a specific website can be carried out via FTP. Try creating an FTP account for your developer and limiting access to the site they will be working on if you want more direct control!
