Hometown: I was born and raised around the Bay Area; Oakland, Emeryville, Berkeley, and San Francisco. But I’ve always felt most at home in betwixt the various farms of the midwest.
Position: Tier 3 Systems Operations

How have you enjoyed working in the web hosting industry since starting at InMotion Hosting?
I’ve adored my time at InMotion Hosting. The values I learned in training have actually held true in my nearly three years here. My favorite parts are how the commitments most meaningful to me have always been honored. The most important this is that we encourage learning and helping each other. As a former mosh-mom, people being kind, cared for, and having fun are the most important things to me.
What is your current role at InMotion Hosting? What do you like most about it?
I’m currently in the Tier 3 Operations department. When I came to Tier 3, I asked a couple questions: Can I do interesting things that push me to learn? Can I help all departments? (I adore talking to everyone) And like I said earlier, I love that commitments are honored here.
Coolest gadget you own, want to own or have read about?
The cool gadgets I want are a Lime SDR (software-defined radio), and a pocket-sized computer like the DragonBox Pyra. Purse-sized ham shack anyone? The coolest gadget I own is a Tamagotchi. It is hands-down cooler than any convoluted electronics project or hardware build I can talk about.
What would you like to tell us about yourself?
I like when people are happy and safe. I like the term “iteration and failure” because it describes what I do: I learn through trial and error. Not just in tech, but in all aspects of life. Sometimes it’s hard and oftentimes it’s hard to go it alone. However, at this company where I adore my customers and crew, I’ve always felt ok knowing I was growing to be a better person along with folks who are kind at heart, hard-working, and pretty darn cool if you ask me.
