Ronnie, it does not seem to work. I have my domain www.xxxx.us, which points to my home page at http://ecngx256.inmotionhosting.com/~yyyyy.So when I type my domain URL, I get to the right home page, however, it shows my home page URL instead of my domain URL. I would like it to be showing my domain URL. Thanks for your help.
It sounds like your domain is not pointed at the server account, but at your temporary domain. This is a nonstandard configuration and I would suggest making sure that your domain is pointed to our nameservers and you set the domain in question up as a primary domain or an addon domain.
That said, if there is an unusual configuration or setup, you may want to reach out to our 24/7 Support Team. They can sign into your server directly and see exactly what is going on.
This sounds like a common problem with WordPress sites when there is a mismatch between the server and the site software.
