Subdomain of main (account) domain down when main domain was changed

I had a subdomain on maindomain1.com
I purchased a new domain (domain2) and set as the main one. So maindomain1 became an addon domain, and my subdomain became a subdomain on maindomain2.com
Subdomain is now down, but all the files are there. How do I get it up?

Thank you for your question regarding primary domain changes. To have the site load on the new main domain name, ensure that the site files are in the public_html folder itself and not within a subfolder.
