Deleting cache in Safari
The article on deleting cache ignores Safari except for one small phrase - "Safari: SHIFT + Reload"
How to Clear Your Browser Cache for Major Browsers
Updated on August 16, 2021 by Stormy Scott
I would think that the Safari browser is important enough for the 1 billion plus Apple users to earn some additional instruction. The instruction above solved part of my problem, but the header picture on the Home page still does not refresh and display. Maybe have someone who uses and Apple device write some additional instruction.
Now I have to call technical support to gain additional HELP.
I'm sorry that you ran into this issue Douglas. At least a couple of us in the Support Center, including myself, use Safari quite a lot, so I'll make sure that it gets added to that article.
Safari has always been odd when it comes to clearing the browser cache, as the best way to do it requires you to first go to Safari's Preferences, then the advanced tab, where you'll need to check the box labelled to enable/show the Develop Menu. This adds a new entry to Safari's top tool bar that gives you a whole host of technical options, one of which is to Empty Caches. Hope that helps in the short term, and I'll get that added to this article!
