Another hosting company says they provide these services and I want to know if and how you provide these services.:

  • Daily malware scan
  • Blacklist monitoring
  • Block automated bot attacks
  • Automatic malware removal
  • Database scanning
  • Web Application Firewall
  • DDoS Protection

Hello Matthew,

Thanks for your question about the hosting and site protection.  The problem with answering this is that protections can depend on scale.  For, example the DDOS protection is for the network connecting the servers to the internet - not limited to a server itself.

  • Automatic malware removal
  • Database scanning
  • Web Application Firewall
  • DDoS Protection

There is no automatic malware removal and no database scanning.  All servers are actively watched by technical support personnel.  If there is a malware issue, they can  scan the account for malware and remove it at that time. For security purposes, specifics about security software and methods are generally kept private.
