I'm getting messages from cpanel that one email is over the limit. I have deleted 3000 emails and still get the notices. How can I get my email address back?

I could not get into cpanel to make any changes required. After more research by myself, I got into the email controls and set the email memory to unlimited, and I think that solved the problem, with NO real assistance from customer service. That's a little discouraging.
