InMotion Donates to TCC Computer Club

InMotion Hosting works closely with Tidewater Community College (TCC), a local college that has served the Hampton Roads area of Virginia for over 50 years. TCC’s Computer Club created the Computers For Student Success program in 2009. The goal is to refurbish computers for both TCC students and non-profits in the community. In total, the program provides around 1,000 computers a year! 

In providing refurbished computers to TCC students and non-profits, volunteer IT and Computer Science students receive valuable hands-on training in computer repair and get to help their fellow students and the community.

InMotion Hosting regularly donates equipment to the TCC Computer Club to assist with these efforts. In September, we gave 10 laptops, 5 desktops, and 1 box of headsets valued at $3,500. The equipment gets repurposed for students or used there at the club. Students at TCC can apply for a computer through this program and will receive one with Windows 10 Pro installed. We are currently putting together more equipment to be donated to the Computer Club soon!
