School Supply Drive A Success!

InMotion Hosting team members demonstrated the company’s core value of “WE care” during the 5th Annual Back-to-School Supply Drive!  Each year, InMotion holds a voluntary company-wide school supply drive to collect school supplies for children in our local communities.  With the addition of our new office in Colorado, we were able to expand our reach to school children in the Denver, CO metro area.  Each office partnered with a different organization: ForKids in Virginia Beach, the I Have A Dream Foundation in Los Angeles, and Stuff for Students in Denver.

The IMH team came together and gave generously in support of our local communities.  Thanks to all for your generous donations!

Virginia Beach

ForKids is one of the largest providers for homeless families in Virginia, touching over 47,500 lives annually through its holistic housing programs and extended services for families.  The Virginia office donated a large variety of school supplies, including paper, pens/pencils, backpacks, highlighters, crayons, markers, scissors (to name a few school supplies), that filled two shopping carts to the brim!

Los Angeles

The I Have A Dream Foundation provides individualized social, emotional, and academic support to young people from low-income communities in the Los Angeles area.  Support is provided for a variety of ages, starting as young as kindergarten all the way through college.  Los Angeles pulled out all the stops and donated an entire cart-full of notebooks, glue sticks, scissors, rulers, folders, and more!

Denver

Stuff for Students is a partnership of Volunteers of America, 9News, and several other local businesses in the Denver area. The donations received from the Stuff for Students drive will go to the 15 school districts in Colorado that have the most need.  Our Denver team pulled together and filled an entire donation box – your donation will help make an impact on the lives of many children!
