We Are InMotion Hosting
Independent infrastructure provider delivering high-performance servers, managed private cloud, and expert human support from the people who run your systems.
About InMotion Hosting
InMotion Hosting is a privately-owned, independent technology company providing web hosting, private cloud solutions, and managed services to agencies, businesses, and entrepreneurs across the globe. We design, own, and operate our infrastructure end to end, from the bare metal hardware to the private network it runs on, so we never depend on hyperscalers or third-party providers. With over 170,000 customers, our mission is to put dependable infrastructure and outstanding support within reach of anyone building online. Since 2001, we have built our foundation on 24/7 expert human support, owned hosting infrastructure, and product development rooted in open source technology.
InMotion Hosting at a Glance
InMotion Hosting was founded by Sunil Saxena and Todd Robinson and maintains an office in Virginia Beach, VA. We own and operate thousands of servers across data centers in California, Virginia, and the Netherlands, which gives our customers predictable performance and direct accountability. Twenty-five years in, we remain founder-led and independent, with no private equity steering our decisions. That independence lets us invest in long-term partnerships and support small businesses with a genuine interest in their growth.

Our Philosophy
Every support interaction is handled by a trained professional. Our specialists complete extensive technical training before they ever take a customer ticket, and our support team carries an average tenure of more than five years, so the person helping you has likely solved your problem before. We build technology that is simple, well crafted, and cared for by people who are empowered to fix things rather than upsell you.
Our engineers work with open source and infrastructure technologies including UltraStack, OpenStack, WordPress, and cloud computing. Those foundations power a full range of options, from shared hosting for a first website to powerful dedicated servers and managed private cloud. Our products serve customers in more than 175 countries. We are driven by a team of over three hundred people with one honest mission: to see you succeed and grow.
