How do I confirm my email is still active

I have been asked to confirm that one of my emails is still active. I have logged in but do not know how to confirm that it is active

If you are an InMotion Hosting customer, you can log into cPanel and see if you have any email accounts set up.  If there are any email accounts already created, you can test them directly there.  You can also create one.  Your domain name must be registered and active for the email to work.
