My google subdomain email isn't working

Hi, I have a desperate newbie time sensitive question.  I accidentally deleted my subdomain, one that had been working with my google workspaces gmail account.  now I've added the subdomain back ( but the email still isn't working.

I added the MX records for google, but that's as much as I can remember doing.

Could someone give me some advice?  Rookie move, and now I'm not getting any work email.

Sorry for the issues with your email not working.  Anytime you make domain changes, it may take a little time for the DNS changes to apply.  It can take up to 24 hours.  Also, I'm not sure if your email is going through our service, or if you're using Google's mail service.  If it's our mail service and you have already changed the MX records (and it's been 24 hours), then I would recommend contacting our live technical support team for immediate assistance.  You don't need to wait the full 24 hours, you can check after an hour or two to see if the changes have already propagated.
