3 Easy Steps to Earn Free Hosting
You already know there are many wonderful things about being an InMotion Hosting customer, such as great products, excellent service, and fantastic support. But now we’ve made the best even better with the Refer-A-Friend program.
You can earn free web hosting by referring your friends, family, and colleagues. Here’s how it works:
- Recommend our hosting plans to someone you know.
- Share with them your unique referral link, which will track their purchase to your account. (Your unique referral link can be found inside your Account Management Panel.)
- Once the referral is confirmed, your account will be credited with a free month of hosting. That’s it!
There is no enrollment to participate in the web hosting referral program. Best of all, there is no limit to the number of friends you can refer. Sign up 12 friends and you’ll earn a year of free web hosting.

Refer-A-Friend Terms
InMotion Hosting’s web hosting referral program is available to all current customers with accounts in good standing. Customers may refer InMotion Hosting’s products to friends, family, clients, or colleagues. Each successful referral earns a free month credit to your web hosting account. Credit is applied to your (referrer) hosting account upon the following terms:
- Referral credit can only be applied if the referred client signs up for an equal or greater value package than the referrer.
- Referrals of Value Class Hosting (i.e. Personal Hosting) and Domain Name registration purchases will not be awarded credit.
- Credit will be awarded 30 days after referrals take place. Cancellations or terminations of referred accounts within the 30-day period will void any credit earned for the referral.
- Credit may not be earned on purchases for your web hosting accounts.
- Credits earned for referrals do not include a monetary alternative.
- Referrals made in conjunction with the InMotion Hosting affiliate program will not be awarded credit toward free web hosting.
- For tracking purposes, your unique referral link should always be used to direct referrals to InMotion Hosting. Referrals completed through the sales team are required to identify the referring client’s primary domain name. This is the domain name contained in the unique referral link.
- All referrals must conform to InMotion Hosting’s standard Terms of Service. Referrals must be claimed within 30 days after the referring purchase to be eligible for credit.
