Spam Assassin cannot access URIBL

A SpamAssassin filter of URIBL_BLOCKED does not access URIBL, but instead returns a message, "URIBL_BLOCKED ADMINISTRATOR NOTICE: The query to URIBL was blocked." This appears to be because too many inquiries are coming from this web host. Is this the case? Does inmotion plan to purchase a datafeed from URIBL?

Hello john@vomiehn.com, Thank you for your question. After investigating this further, URIBL has a specific blocklist notification rule specifically for Spam Assassin. URIBL seems to limit the amount of emails it will filter, they are one of only 2 companies (I could find) that does this to spam assassin. I am not aware of any plans to purchase a datafeed from URIBL, but there are many 3rd party email filters you can subscribe to. We will be offering McAfee Email protection for purchase in the near future. If you are having a lot of problems with spam email, you may want to consider using Boxtrapper as well, it is available in cPanel.
