why is my IP suddenly blocked since 24 hours?

hello. since 24 hours my ip-address is blocked by inmotionhosting. i suddenly got an email, that due to a high amount of IMAP connections my ip got blocked. i had no idea why that happened and got the reply from support to turn off IMAP IDLE on my macbook mail accounts. which i did and confirmed this by email. since then i got no more reply and my ip is still blocked. what is going on?
Thank you for your question. The IMAP idle function can cause mac mail to connect to the IMAP server over and over without closing the previous connection, sometimes hitting the server multiple times per second which would be considered excessive resource usage.

In a shared setting, since this can affect other users we are forced to stop the connections by blocking the IP Address.
I investigated this further and you are not blocked at this time.
