Modifying a MySQL View in phpMyAdmin
Category: Databases
I am trying to fix a client website and I believe the problem is his views were created with a definer that is no longer in the system. From what I can tell there is no way I can alter a view through phpMyAdmin based on inmotion's security settings. How can I change the definer on the view (or the security type)? Thanks.

Hello Jeff, That may be possible depending on the type of server the site is on. You will want to post this type of question to our support department. To do so, please email them at support@inmotionhosting.com with the domain name so they can check the server. Any other details regarding the phpMyAdmin, Table, View, etc would be helpful. Also, to make any necessary changes, you will need to verify the account with either the current AMP password or the last 4 digits of the credit car on file. Best Regards, Scott M |
