prepping for a site transfer from another hoster

I'm moving a site from HostGator to a reseller account I have here. I have the clients new version of the site on my HDD. I've added my DNS nameservers to the HG account and I will shortly be disabling the DNS records on HostGator for their hosting-nameServers. When I do a DNS lookup I can see the clients domain already associated with my hosting.
With the HG DNS nameservers still active, Is there a way I can access through a URL the clients Cpanel for my reseller account so I can setup the site up with the least amount of downtime?

Hello Dwebbd, Thanks for the question about being able to access your client's cPanel through a URL. All accounts on our servers have a temporary URL that you can use to access the account. You can also use a modified hosts file to work with an account even though the domain remain pointed elsewhere. I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance. Regards, Arnel C.
