What would be the recommended way to install & configure Varnish or Memcache, considering I have not asked for root access?

Dear Managed Hosting Team of Inmotion Hosting,
I would like to ask about how is the varnish caching you guys have here in Inmotion Hosting is different from different hosting companies I found that also does managed hosting like you guys. I have checked competitors like WP Engine where they have Evercache or even Hostgator. Please help me see more value in what you guys are doing because I am planning to increase my traffic dramatically to the point it might use more resources than the hosting you guys give me allows. Thanks
Andy Lai
P.S The reason why I ask is because I found some hosting provider like Hostgator will provide a managed hosting that will enable me to have 1 million visitors a month for a price of $200 a month (which is the same for WP Engine). However, when I checked some of the case studies that is done through Inmotion Hosting, I found that some websites you guys have as customers can handle 1 million visitors in an hour for a price of $100. To me, that is just totally insane on how did you guys do that at such an affordable rate.

Thank you for your installation question. You will definitely need root access in order install the software by yourself. You may also opt to contact our Support team for installation. Memcached is listed on our Installable Software reference and does have an installation fee.

Varnish is a bit different as it may also need additional configuration so that may require the purchase of Managed Hosting time. Also, it is recommended that you have at least a VPS 3000S for that software due to the memory requirements.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M

Hello AndyLai,

You will need to contact our Managed Hosting team to have that done as they do not operate out of this public forum.
