Security certificate warning - problem?

Hi, I'm getting a security certificate warning that I don't remember seeing before. It says that the identity of the server secure156.inmotionhosting.com cannot be verified because it doesn't have a valid certificate. Is this something I should be worried about?

Hello,

Sorry for the warning that you're getting with the certificate. The issue is related to the fact that you're using the secure settings. When you set it to that, typically, the SSL certificate would need to match with the domain name that you're trying to secure. However, when you're on a shared server, the certificate is based on the name of the server - in your case , it's ecbiz156 - specifically secure156.inmotionhosting.com. So, when you see the warning, you should be able to add the server to the exception list for your browser so that you don't see the warning come up again.

I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Regards,
