Permalink is not changing on website

my website permilinks are not changing even after I selected other than default, it saves but don't change.

Hello, I am sorry that your permalinks are not saving in your WordPress website. Have you checked your file permissions on the .htaccess (which should be set to 644). This can prevent WordPress from writing to the file. Are you able to make other changes to your WordPress website? Have you tried a different browser or tried clearing your browsers cache?
