date.timezone

I added date.timezone = "America/New_York" to my php.ini file as per the tutorial, but when I check my phpinfo.php, it continues to show America/LosAngeles. How do I get the timezone changed to mine?

Hello LeslieL,

I had fun with this one. I couldn't figure out the reason it wasn't working since it appeared you had everything correct. So, I had a Tier2c look at it with me and found that you had a SECOND date.timezone line "hiding" at the bottom of your php.ini file - this was what was causing it to show Los Angeles. But, it's good now! Check it out and let us know if you need any further assistance.
