How to upload photos in Sliding Door theme's header?

We selected the WordPress theme called Sliding Door. But we can't upload our own visuals into this theme's header. Its header has 7 placeholders for replacing the sample photos with our own pictures. We need help as soon as possible in nontech language. Thanks very much.

Hi jotay, Thanks for posting your question. I'm more than happy to assist you. It looks like you'll need to upload the item using hte featured image option. Now, I'm not familiar with the theme so it's hard to help you determine how to follow their instructions. Ideally, the steps are on the sliders themselves.

Step 1

Create 7 pages in the WordPress Dashboard. These will be the pages in the slider.

Keep in mind that the slider is a menu and the slider will link to pages within your WordPress website.

Step 2

Create a menu in Appearance -> Menu With 7 entries, one for each slider in the banner. Select the menu you create in the column called Sliding Navigation

Step 3

Make sure your images are 300x200px in size and upload them to the each pages in using the Featured Image option. The featured image option is on the page in the bottom right corner. Also, each theme is designed by different people so each theme functions differently. The theme "sliding door" seems to have outdated instructions that aren't user friendly. I hope this helps!
