My email SMTP client is being blocked by the server

We have a VPS with you and on it we are trying to connect our email sending client (hosted on our domain with our SMTP relay server but it is giving the following error:

The support staff for our sending platform was able to connect with the same credentials from the sender installed on their own server, and here is what they said:

Our email sender is hosted in a subfolder on our domain

What could be causing the software on our domain to be blocked from connecting to our SMTP relay server?
Hello Nryker, We do apologize for the problems you're having with getting your email client to connect with your SMTP relay server. The Support Center team does not have the access to make any changes to your VPS, so our recommendation is to contact our our live technical support team. They will be able to determine if there is a security rule that is blocking access to your SMTP server. You can submit an email based support ticket by logging into your Account Management Panel (AMP) or by using one of the contact options provided in the link I have provided.
