Hello, I am using Inmotion to host my wordpress site. backofthebiketours.com I would like my primary email to be ****@backofthebiketours.com Whenever i use this address or any of my business @backofthebiketours.com address i do not receive any emails from my site. If i use my personal *******@gmail.com it works without a problem but than i have too much stuff being forwarded to different places. I was told that this problem is something to do with the hosting. If anyone has any insight on how to address this problem i would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for your question chadkub!

I checked your domain and it is pointing to Godaddy. The email also points to Gmail. Please see the following DNS information.

backofthebiketours.com. 3600 IN SOA ns75.domaincontrol.com. dns.jomax.net. 2013031300 28800 7200 604800 600

backofthebiketours.com. 3600 IN NS ns76.domaincontrol.com.

To get your email working on our server now you can switch your email routing to remote in the MX entry section of your cPanel mail settings.

If you want to have your DNS pointing to us then you will need to make quite a few changes to your DNS. You will need to set up your DNS records on our server then chage the nameservers to point to ours. Currently your nameservers are pointing to Godaddy so your website is still loading at Godaddy. To have your site work on our server you will need to do the following.

Changing your DNS from Godaddy to InMotion

  1. Remove the Priority 0 MX record and Add your Google MX records to your cPanel.
  2. Add other DNS entries you require in the DNS Zone Editor.
  3. Change the nameservers at Godaddy to your nameservers with InMotion.

Once the DNS is changed you will see your site start working on your server with us within 24 hours.

Best Regards,
James R
