Hello Neal,

I forgot to mention that the newest version of cPanel doesn't use the name "Spam Assassin" any further.  They call it "Spam Filters" now - for some reason.  Also, in response to your specific question about targeting specific "spammy" words, you can use Email Filters in cPanel to do this.  Create a new rule, set the FROM to be from "any recipient" and then use contains with the word that you want to target.  You should also create another rule with "any header".  SpamExperts is another system provided for our shared hosting accounts.  If you need more information on this system, start with How to Log into SpamExperts.  The SpamExperts section of our Support Center can be found here.

Hope that helps!

Hello Neal,

Sorry for the flood of spam messages getting into your account.  I recommend reviewing this article:  Spam Assassin enabled and still getting spam. That article should help you to improve your spam settings and stop spam.  I would also recommend looking at the other available tools to stop spam.  For example, email filters, greymail or Spam Experts (if you have access) are other options that you should use.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Kindest regards,

Arnel C.
