Better File Manager than cPanel ?!?

I have been trying to copy my Wordpress folders to a subfolder for hours now using cPanel File Manager - like your support page tells us to use. I am doing it right inside File Manager but it does not SHOW its progress and when I go back to inspect files than SHOULD have been copied...they are not there...so I am not trusting this cPanel FileManager anymore.

I also tried using Filezilla to copy folders in my public_html Wordpress folders to a SUB folder but when I click and drag a folder, it shows a "+" sign like its going to "copy" but it only "moves" the folder and I cant make it "copy" from server to another folder on the same server.

Is there a BETTER File Manager or way to Move & Copy files and folders that SHOWS you the progress and even has a "inspection" to make sure the thousands of files are actually copied ?

Hello PaulAlford, Unfortunately you can not do that in filezilla, however you could perform copy actions with the cp command via SSH. Best Regards, TJ Edens

Hello PaulAlford, Thank you for contacting us about using a File Manager. Yes, I recommend using an FTP client, such as FileZilla. This is just one of many free FTP clients available. If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below. Thank you, John-Paul B
