Changing password Through C panel

Why do I have 2 wp databases, one is wp_179, the other is wp_859 each with wp_users? Also each data base has different user names and passwords? Is this right and if so do I change passwords in each area?

This depends on the website that you are trying to modify. Each WordPress site will only use a single database so if you want to change the password to a single WordPress site, you will only need to change that database.

If you are unsure as to which of these databases your WordPress site is using, you may always take a look within your wp-config.php file located in the document root for that WordPress site. The database name will be listed directly within that file.
