OpenCart is not connecting to the database that I've set up?

I've set up proper permissions, I've placed the names and password in the proper locations, but OpenCart will not let me connect to my one and only database. I've tried live chat with customer support, but they couldn't figure it out. Please help, I need to get my business up as soon as possible.
Thank you for your question luxuryonaleash! Sorry for the trouble setting up your Open Cart. I'm not sure why tech support was unable to help. Sorry for that. I was able to successfully install the software manually. I had to remove the database users and re-add it with full permissions. You will receive an email with your login. Best regards, James R
