Hello Greg,

Thank you for contacting us.

The most likely reason why the red icon is showing up for you is that you are referencing external content on your home page that is not loaded via https. In particular, I see content from addthis.com as not being encrypted. Please make sure that all of your content on the site is being loaded via https. I also noticed that none of the links on your website have https in the link. This is probably another cause of the issue. Please double check your settings in the dashboard and refresh your permalinks, if any. This can force the links to update to your new https settings. If both of these are corrected, your entire site should load with a green icon. If you have any other questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your patience.

Please let us know if you have any further questions; we are more than happy to help. By the way, our new support center features hundreds of great new articles, improved search results and a new community driven Question and Answer section! Our new support center is located at inmotionhosting.com/support.

Hi Joseph,

It's actually not necessary to have every single page on your site run through https. You really only need to be concerned with https when transmitting personal/sensitive information (such as creating an account, logging into an account, and checking out). If you are seeing issues on this pages, I would recommend going back over the SSL settings and making sure everything saved correctly in the OpenCart dashboard and config files. If you continue to have this issue, please feel free to email your OpenCart login information to [email protected]. We will be happy to look into this for you further when we return to the office on Monday.

Regards,

Christi N.
