Transfer asp.net to Linux - with no asp.net knowledge!

I've been asked to set up some sites on InMotion rather than my client relying on his private servers. However, three of them are in asp.net. InMotion is Linux. I'm really good at Wordpress and deciphering PHP templates, HTML 5, multiple CMS programs, SharePoint, DreamWeaver and so on. I am a hack at javascript but I'm **not** a programmer. Can someone direct me to specific instructions - written, video, etc., that can explain how to set up or convert an asp.net site to an InMotion site? I've read about "Mono" but it looks intimidating for the installation and set up. Then there are variations - Mod Mono, Turnkey Linux ...

I just need to know where to start and how to get going. I learn quickly and I'm not afraid to make mistakes ... I just need to know where to start and have some documentation to support me!

Thank you!

Hello KMackenzie, Thank you for your question about ASP and converting to Linux. I wish I could be of more help, but we do not have any documentation about this conversion process. As I understand it, ASP is a server-side scripting language similar to PHP (which runs on all of our servers). I found some information regarding converting ASP to PHP that may be helpful to you. Sorry to refer you elsewhere, but Windows products are outside of our scope. Best, Christopher M.
